March Flavors of the Month

Happy March!  Spring is ALMOST here!  Are you ready?!  We are!  In the meantime, we have 2 special flavors available for the month of March!  I went back to my Girl Scout roots and came up with these flavors!  Samoa & Thin Mint!  Of course, they are inspired by the Girl Scout Cookies!

This Samoa cupcake is delicious and got rave reviews at The Spa Soiree event where we were 1 of many vendors this past weekend.  It is a chocolate cupcake with a caramel buttercream and a hint of sweet coconut flakes.  They are topped with half of a samoa cookie.  DELISHHHHHHHH  I promise you won't regret ordering it.  They are also available in cakepops.

Next up was the Thin Mint Cake Pop!  Thin Mint cookies crushed and creamed into cake pops with a little bit of cream cheese frosting and then dipped in dark mint chocolate.  They melt in your mouth.   These can also be turned into cupcakes.

Happy New Year!  We are late BUT our last blog post was October of 2012 so we thought its time we do a new post!  LoL  We promise to blog more frequently this year. 

Since our last post, we have been busy doing a few events in the Richmond Area!  In November, we were a vendor at the Return of the Curls Holiday Trunk Show at the Wingate Wyndham in Short Pump.  The event hosted approximately 30 of the hottest clothing and jewelry designers in the Metro Richmond Area as well as local hair care companies and hair stylists.  The event was co-hosted by Maeling Tapp of Natural Chica.  It was a blast and we had the opportunity to network and meet some great people!  Some of our small business friends were vendors too including Candlewax and Wine RVA, iRock Natural, and Sweet Trinity Aromatherapy.  Click the link and check out these ladies and their businesses!

Our last event of the year was the ARTisan Café - One Year Anniversary Edition.  The ARTisan Café is an indoor lifestyle shopping affair featuring a curated selection of artisans to include visual artist, creators of home decor, wine vintners, literary artist, clothing and jewelry designers, holistic and natural hair experts, and body care herbalists.  Live musicians complete the creative ambiance, allowing shoppers to listen to beauty as they survey it.  Below is a picture of our Christmas Cake Pop Display from the event.  We would be more than happy to create one of those for your special occasion!

Peaches N Cream:  White cake infused with Peach Ciroc and dipped in white chocolate.

Moscato:  Vanilla cake infused with Moscato Wine and dipped in white chocolate. 

Very Vanilla:  Vanilla cake infused with Vanilla Vodka and dipped in white chocolate.

Pink Champagne: White cake infused with light raspberry champagne and mixed with champagne icing and dipped in white chocolate.

Cake Pops for a Cause!

Happy Monday Everyone!  As most of you may already be aware, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!  I have been deeply affected by this horrible disease as my Maternal Grandmother is a TWO TIME Breast Cancer Survivor.  Also, my Godmother who we lost to this terrible disease.  I am participating in the Making Strides Richmond Breast Cancer Walk on October 21, 2012.  To raise money, I am doing Cake Pops for a Cause!  The proceeds from these pops will go towards my teams donations for the raise!  This week's flavor is Pumpkin Spice!  If you would like to place an order, please let me know.  They are $2 a piece!  I look forward to hearing from you & Happy October!!
